Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

Goal: Create gradual, natural improvements in skin conditions using Intense Pulsed Light™ (IPL) treatments.
IPL is a FDA-approved, minimally invasive procedure that can be used to treat skin conditions for all skin types including:
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Age spots
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scarring
  • Symptoms of Rosacea
  • Birthmarks
  • Unsightly veins
  • Unwanted hair

Method: IPL works by delivering light to the skin surface (photorejuvenation) in precise pulses. IPL is most often (but can be used elsewhere) used to treat the following area of the body:
  • Face
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Hands
On average, four to six treatments are recommended, scheduled at three-week intervals. Each session usually lasts about 30 minutes.

Recovery: While other treatments may be effective, IPL offers the advantages of:
  • No or low downtime
  • Minimal to mild redness in the treated area
  • Return to normal activity immediately following treatment
  • Long-lasting results

Cost:

Fee covers:

  • Initial physician consultation
  • Aesthetician consultation
  • Procedure
  • Follow up visits
Exact cost depends on size and number of areas treated.

Personalization: Every patient and every cosmetic surgery is different.
One of the most important factors for the success of any procedure is taking the time to review your goals and set realistic expectations.
